If you have to go to Burger King after, then I think it is not too rude - because who would want a second date after that? Who even cooks on the first date? Seems weird!

She is going to think one of the two:

1) The dinner you made her was horrible and you must go get something good to eat.

2) She didn't give you enough to eat so she'll make you more next time.

I think you blew this one, most likely, you didn't like the dinner and you probably won't get a second date.

i would say thats rude! she went through all of the trouble to make you dinner and you wanna go to burger king?!?! you should at least leave and go without her knowing, not ask her to go with you!! OUCH
