Prairie, ignore those who gave you a thumbs dumb. There's no cure for the cancer of the spirit that has infected them.

I found out that my mother has responded to her chemotherapy, so she's going to be with us for a while longer. We're not sure how long, exactly, because the main cancer has receded but some of the metastases have increased in size -- but at least she's not going to die in the relatively near future.

Edited to add: ... thumbs down? Two people (so far) have actually given me thumbs down because I just found out that my mother isn't going to die right away? Wow. Just... wow. I can only imagine what charming individuals you must be in Real Life.

Edited to add again: Thanks, summerfest_01. :-)

Well, I woke up to a beautiful day, healthy, happy and hopeful. I spent the day with the people who mean the very most to me. I spent the day planning my future; I am getting married soon! AND I got some very hopeful news regarding a situation that has been troubling me for sometime now.

But most of all I had another day to live in the wonderment of this life. I am truly blessed.

I woke up and breathed the fresh air, thanked God for keeping us safe, hugged and kissed my husband and son and was glad to have them.I appreciate having my family, two weeks ago we moved out of a really bad area into a safe one so I thought about that and was grateful again.I appreciate so many things it's hard to decide which one I like the most.I guess it would have to be that we are still alive and together.Have a nice day!!!!

About 14 years ago I had a pastor/friend I went to visit. Since then I have moved to another state and haven't heard from him. At the college today I was in the library and in he walked. What a surprise. He is preaching during chapel tomorrow. Isn't that weird?

Count are blessings-
We are alive, the present for it is the gift of life.
Today made be think about yesterday- The past and all it's history
And the best about today will be tomorrow- For tomorrow will be a today's dream of tomorrows future.
Today gave me lots to think about but nothing to worry about.
Not with god on my side.
A men
PS. Prairiecr- I will pray for your mom and your family :)

I got to spend the day with my family members. We don't have many times like that, so I am grateful. I am also happy that this day is over and I can get some sleep! I'm tired!
