I'm in my early 20's and have never had a serious relationship or intimacy. As a man I'm weary about taking a 50% chance of losing most of what I'm worth and losing my rights to the kids.

Ah, it's a cop-out! If you find somebody you love and you've been with for awhile (give it *years*) you should marry or at least give them some sort of sign of commitment (maybe not a legally-binding wedding?). But I'm sure you can find a divorced woman who would definitely appreciate your never wanting to get married! LOL
