I want to know if it was safe to eat the fish. Do you think i'm going to get food poisoning? What should I do?

My husband and I already ate the fish. It was frozen when I took it out tonight. I cooked it on 450 for 20 minutes

If the fish was spoiled, then you will get symptoms that are similar to seafood allergies, including hives, itching, upset stomach and nasal congestion. In severe cases, anaphylactic shock, which can cause difficulty breathing and a drop in blood pressure.

If you start feeling like you have a cold all of a sudden, get to the ER, especially if your breathing is affected. You may want to call either the hospital or poison control center, explain the situation, and see what they suggest. Otherwise, it's gonna be a long night of waiting and wondering.

Blessings

did you eat them? did they taste good? did they smell like normal fried fish? did you not develop some kind of rash, or felt light-headed after eating? are you still at home and not feeling any weird sensation? Well, the fish you fries was most probably okay. but, a couple of minutes after eating the fried fish, you felt something weird in your tummy and you felt dizzyor sleepy, then the fish mush have been spoiled. Actually, the nose knows when it comes to fish. If the raw fish stinks more than it should, don't eat it. or if while eating you felt an itchy sensation in your tongue and mouth as a whole, then the fish must have gone bad. plase take note of this: " If in doubt, throw it out! "

As long as you cooked it you should be fine. If the fish was in the freezer that means it was frozen so it would stay fresh for several hours with the door being open.

I seriously doubt you have anything to worry about.

Did the freezer items thaw out and then you refroze them? No good if that happened.

Pay attention to your body and if you start to feel ill, get to a dr and let them know what you did. Also, tell someone else to check on you in the next 12 hrs and why.

Well.. if the fish had completely defrosted a few weeks ago then it may have been bad.. but as long as the fish was still frozen it's safe... I think you should be fine...

the fish should be cooked with high temperature.because just as we know of heat loving bacteria, that is how there are cold loving bacteria which can even survive on very cool iceberg on sea.

was the fish partly thawed when you noticed that the fridge door was open? If so, I would not eat that fish.

If the fish smells bad or a little bad then it's not good.
