According to experts in Spanish language, there are only three words originating from that language that end in a "j", "reloj", 'caraj" and boj". The first one as you might already know, is clock, or watch, the latter two, rarely used. Caraj is a kind of container where arrows are kept, and boj is an oriental sort of bush. Phonetically, Spanish rarely admits words ending in a "j", and when any such word comes from another language, usually a vowel is added at the end of the word for pronounciation reasons

Native language.
