Yes...those two big mobile companies combined to form a new car. A total of 90% of design and development work is carried out using sophisticated digital simulation. Designers get a realistic impression of the model much early in the process with instant computation to view the impact on design changes. These new designs can be seen in all the Mahindra Renault cars.
Renault’s soundproofing work covers all interior and exterior noise sources. Outside noise level is lower than that stipulated by European standards
Automatic systems reduce the risk of driver distraction by taking charge of certain routine operations such as switching on the headlights. The advanced design runs hand in hand with technological innovation to produce controls that are intuitive to operate and pleasant to the touch.
Renault has invested in technology to set higher benchmarks for safety. A relentless passion that has seen safety features usually found in luxury cars become standard features in smaller cars. As a result Renault’s eight vehicles have achieved top five-star rating in the Euro NCAP tests, including smaller cars like Modus and the Clio III. Renault’s highly innovative safety features will now be seen in every Mahindra Renault vehicle. What this means for the Indian consumer is a safer drive.

Actually not a new car at all. Mahindra merely produces Renault cars to be sold in India and Asia in general. The new car you might have heard about is the Logan. This is actually called Dacia Logan and it was originally made in Romania. But since Renault bought Dacia, it also has the right to make this car wherever they please. So... the Logan comes in two styles - Sedan and Break/Wagon. It has similar features to Renault Clio, but is much cheaper (the most expensive Logan costs no more than 7500 euro).
