What are some of the reasons that you felt yourself being called into the service of Christ Jesus and his teachings? Do any of you as Christians try to convert someone to your faith even after they have told you that they are not interested? and last does anybody in this Christian group feel that your beliefs seem to make you a more open/available target for over active non-Christians? I do thank each and everyone of you fine Christians for answering these questions. And ask any non - Christians that may wish to answer this why are you wasting my time? Good day to all!!

I feel myself being called in the service of Christ because I know that he loves me, that is why He sacrificed His life for me. That love compells me to want to serve Him.
As for the second question, it is not up to us to convert people. We can tell people what Christ did, but no human logic or wisdom can be enough to convert someone. This is something that only the Spirit can do. So if someone says they are not interested, I won't push because arguing will not get anywhere (I will pray for them still).
For the third question, I would say yes, but that is just fine for me. In James 1:3 it says "Consider it pure joy, my brothers, when you face trials of many kinds."

I think there can be only one reason for anyone to feel called into the service of Christ, and that is through the work of the Holy Spirit. As for trying to convert someone to the faith, again, we do not do the converting. The Holy Spirit does.

No, I have never tried to force someone into a decision. It doesn't work that way anyway. What I can do is let others know that I'm not afraid to talk about the Lord in front of others and confess my belief before men. But this is out of joy, not out of any sense of "duty" as if works are going to get me into heaven.

Am I a target for overzealous Christians? I haven't been approached by anyone, if that's what you mean. I did attend a "Way of the Master" training session last year that advocated techniques that I did not agree with -- so I left during the intermission.

Personally, I was raised by a Christian mother. So ever since I can remember I heard about Jesus Christ and learned the Bible. However, becoming a Christian is a personal choice and each individual must make the decision to either except Christ or reject him. I did accept Jesus as my savior when I was four years old, but when I was a teen I fell away for a time (backslid). I came back after a few years. During the time I was doing my own thing I thought I was having lots of fun, but I couldn't see all the damage I was doing to myself. I found I had no "real" friends out in the world. The reasons I give for my faith? Indescribable peace, overwhelming gratefulness for what Jesus did for me on the cross, tremendous awe of the Creator and all His wonders, and joy unspeakable. Bad things still happen -we still live in this world, but being a Christian means you have the assurance of eternal life in heaven with God. Your second question--No, if I tell someone of my faith and they flat out tell me they don't want Jesus, except continuing to pray for them, I leave them alone. Last question--Yes we Christians are more of a target, but that is okay, Jesus was persecuted for me, Jesus blesses me for being persecuted for Him. Praise the LORD! Jesus is LORD!

I am called by Christ because I received forgiveness of my sins when I was immersed in water (baptized) for the remission of sins. I don't shy away from talking about my faith, but if people say they are not interested, I respect that. Yes, I have felt an open target for vehement non-Christians, but I can't let that discourage me from living the best I can as a follower of Christ.

saving people from thier own love to sin is a judgement ,evil has to feel fed up with sin ,we cant assume sin and try to cure it,it can only be repented when they feel it isnt working any more,
then when they feel its not working offer them a better way to have fun ,but not at thier expense ,for thier good not thier percieved bad.
the best service is to not judge ,
to be a friend to the friend less ,
to be a christian by good egsample
to be happy ,to serve
christians are a target because they come and assume evil ,often where no real evil is ,a blanket on a cold night says more about christ than any word,
serving christ is serving the hungry ,serving the sick /tired weak ,to smile not blame
to raise up not to put down

One must realize that a miss interrupted turn in life will become ones turn to understand that ones choice here will be ones answer there. And always be aware of the fact that it is best to practice here what you will become upon leaving the physical form. And always know that the true followers of the Spirit Creator and his immediate family will never return to dust to never be seen or heard from again that is the hell to lose the gift of being. All that know who is the alpha and the omega will truly be seen forever more. And remember that it is right to practice what you know and not right to judge what you think others show and know for we have no eternal answers here. For truth in all paths chosen is faith and faith is what is perceived to be.
I follow Creator forever more. I seek the full circle journey that is eternal for all that feel the connection. When I feel and know of my return from where my spirit began I will break down and cry as if a revitalized sense of Spiritualism blossomed into my continuing eternity. I know this to be true, as all will, upon knowing that we will return to where we began, for we are of Creator

I just feel his presence.
No, I do not try to convert that is invasion of a person's rights. It only makes people turn away from God, because they feel He must be a bully and control freak.
Not really, I don't let it bother me. Don't preach what you aren't going to practice. People judge by actions not empty words. If you live the life they will respect you more, then if you try to force it on them.

I feel His love even when I am stuck in a dark place.

I do NOT try to convert anyone, it's not my job. If people ask, I share, otherwise, I don't.

Yes, I feel I am a target all the time, but oh well. God never promised it would be easy.
