Also, I used to eat 1 or 2 chocolate bars in Canada - a day. In the US, I can't stomach the chocolate. It tastes gross - with one exception - MILKY WAY.. They don't have milky way in Canada. But, milky way is MADE IN CANADA!!!!!

This is just a guess, and I could be wrong, but alot of american products are sweetened with high fructose corn syrup which is a cheaper less quality sweetener, and its bad for you. If anyone has access to comparing the ingredient lists that might be something to look for. I am not aware if canada uses high fructose corn syrup as a sweetner or not, but in america it is in pretty much everything!

It's the Canadian air - once you open the package, the chocolate is instantly affected by the high altitude and cooler temps.

German Big Macs and fries are way better than American ones. I think it's because of the Alps.

The chocolate in Canada is better - not so sugary. And, we do have Milky Way - maybe they just aren't in your area.

Check the label. Kit Kats in the US are made by Hershey. Kit Kats in Europe (and maybe Canada) are made by Nestle.

It's probably where they are produced.. there isn't one centrally located producer but different factories. it's likely the canadian one also may have a different supplier due to distance.
