be more specific plz...how small of a block do you want?

It's not the size of the aggregate that affects the size of the block of concrete. The size of the aggregate affects the nature of the concrete. Realy, if you want a block of concrete small enough that the agregate has an effect, you shouldn't be using concrete.

As Engineer, efforts are made to make things standard and easily achievable. If we make the size of the crush smaller, then we have to remodel the crushing instruments, and batching plants.
I think it is the standards that we use in the normal life and they are now adopted so no need to change the size of the aggregates.

we need to stay at specefic ratio and decreasing the size of aggrigate will not make the block smaller
