Very nutritionally unsound. Empty calories and way salty.

Well, yes and no. Are the ramen noodles all you're eating? If they are, then it isn't per se fattening but you will be missing out on a lot of different nutrients that your body needs to run in good shape. Also most ramen noodles are actually fried so that really isn't a good thing...and the flavor packets are loaded with MSG and sodium. Too much sodium has the same effect on the body as eating too much sugar...so that is a problem...if you eat them maybe once a day...that would be better. Try looking for the ones that say they aren't fried...at least you won't have to worry about the trans/sat fat then.

it is 190 calories for a serving which is only half the block..meaning the whole block is 380 wihout the packet...im not sure if the packet has calories. but take 380 and 3 times a day and you have 1140 calories extra a day. They may taste good but they are nutritionally not good for you. Also consider since it is basically a pasta type food you will not stay full long and will eat even more food later along with the noodles. also say ur on a typical diet of 2000 calories a day...if you eat ramen noodles 3 times a day at 1140 calories ur eating 140 calories more than half of ur daily caloric intake. And all ur basically taking in is junk.

Rice is between the main inexpensive staples and that's accessible in many categories. I want Basmati and Jasmin rice yet you're able to purchase popular manufacturers greater cheap and you will season them with something from a splash of salt to dry mixes like fried rice or bearnaise sauce. fit than ramen to boot yet once you're utilising ramen do exactly no longer use each and all of the seasoning because of the fact that is quite often salted loose boulion.

those instant ramen noodles are one of the worst food one could ever eat. aside from it being an empty carolie food, it also has very high sodium content. My friend's daughter, a grade schooler, was hospitalized because of hypertension (150/90). Her kindneys were also affected. the cause was too much daily intake of ramen...

The ramen noodles with those little flavor packets ? They are terrible for you, actually. They have MSG and tons of sodium and this could lead to high blood pressure and all sorts of health problems...especially if you eat them 3 times a day. Lay off those thangs...narrow it down to one a day, if you absolutely have to eat them. I know they are cheap and lots of college kids eat them. Just be careful.

14 grams of fat in just one package. That's almost 2 1/2 subway sandwiches worth of fat.

read the sodium content, and you'll eat it only once a week
