A guy friend of mine told me that he fantasises about me all the time. And I fantasise about him too.

Is this still considered a platonic friendship?

it's a little strange that he told you, but it's not strange that it happens. your friendship can still be platonic. after all fantasizing is just a response to hormones not an emotional attachment.

The relationship is platonic until you act on the fantasy. Fantacizing in general, even about friends, is totally normal.

Sure, until you start acting on those fantasies. My only question is why haven't you? If you're both having fantasies about each other...well...sounds like opportunity for fun to me.

it is cool because that's your friend you both know you feel a connection when your around each other and fantasizing about each other it is obvious that you like him and he likes you so i think u should ask him out
