NOTHING AT ALL? Like today he say hi to whatever in the hallway of our house, nothing was there and he said hi again and looked up...kinda scary.

Don't go getting all spooked about it! He's just 2. It's probably nothing to concern yourself with. He just has a vivid imagination.
Could be a phase, just let him get through it.

i think you son is seeing DEAD PEOPLE it is ok though because my child did the same he told me what his NEW FRIEND NAME WASAND WHAT HE LOOKED LIKE TO A TEE my child was 3 he didnt go to school so i thought he was lonely i never told anyone about it at all and my neighbor which i dont talk to much told me about her child had a pretend friend and she stared telling me what her child friend looked like and i swear it was the same as my child told me his friend looked like
