I don't know about inert earth but, paraffin wax is normally used and by the way Easter bunnies or any other chocolate candy will melt otherwise they could not pour it into the molds.

The chocolate will melt in hot weather or if placed in the sun, so no matter what, place the candy in the candy in a cool place where it is within reach.

English chocolates are the best because they have more true milk & less WAX but have a shorter "fresh"time . What do you consider INERT?

if it is ahigh quality chocolate there are no additives to prevent the chocolate from melting. The chocolate is tempered in the molding process which highly increases the melting point so you don't get chocolatey fingers.
