I don't want to go somewhere really expensive, but don't want a cheap resort either. All inclusive resort is preferred. Any suggestions welcomed! Thanks.

I've been to the Mayan Riviera, and would consider there again seeing that when we went it was right after a hurricane tore the beach up. However, I would like somewhere different and didn't know if there was a hidden gem I hadn't heard of before. Thanks for your suggestion.

We would be flying out of Toronto, if that helps anyone with suggestions!

Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.

Espcially the Grenadines, where they do have several all inclusive resorts.

Lovely white sands, beautiful water, lovely islanders.

And you can go to the main island, for black sands, pine forests, jungle, volcanos, hotsprings and rocky pools.

Lovely.

But then I'm biased.

Dominican Republic, Punta Cana and Mexico price wise really are going to be your best bet. Seen as those are locations you don't want to go to, then I would consider Jamaica. However, in Jamaica you don't have to stay at the most expensive property, but for security reasons as well as how good of trip you will experience it isn't the place to go "cheap". Otherwise you will not have a good time, I can almost assure you.

As far as which locations/Islands would be best for you is really going to depend on your departure city and what type of flights you have available. This is going to depict what possible price you are able to get.

Curious on if you have traveled to Mexico and had a bad experience or just the reasoning to not want to go there? The Mayan Riviera area is beautiful (South of Cancun). In fact this area is one of the nicest in Mexico and is nothing like Cancun. The properties are low-rise and don't exceed much beyond the palm trees, giving it a different ambiance.

Make sure if you don't already have them to apply for a passport right away. It is taking about 2 months to get one without expedite service.

If you go to an AI, it kind of doesn't matter where you go. They are all the same.
