I read the same article I believe.... Kids who sleep less end up eating more, overall. If a kid is not sleeping enough, they might overeat and become obese. Make sure your child is getting the age appropriate amount of sleep.The hormone related to sleep is growth hormone. The hormone is released during their sleep. This is very important as we all know that children are supposed to grow!

No this is not correct
But a child who is below should sleep atleast sleep for 12 hours throughout the day. To increase weight u can give him icecream,choclate, milk ,kellorg corn flakes which have more calcium, calories and easy to digest. let ur child play more so he will feel hungry and give other diet normal.
Give a child kichdi with mixed vegetables as it is nutricous and a child likes the most

No its quite opposite. Kids who sleep more will have growth faster and they also weigh more.

the weight of your kids it not depend on how many hour that they sleep a day.... they can lost their weight if they are luck of nutrients from the foods that they eat and no vitamins.
