This controls the fan speed for the a/c and heater in the cab.

It should be on the passenger side close to where the blower motor is in the heater housing under the dash (the motor is all the way to the right). It will be a rectangular shaped item with a connector in the middle and 2 screws holding it in place (one screw on each end). The motor can be identified by the round metal piece that sticks down from the heater case.

On my 96 is was under the hood on the drivers side by the battery. It's a thin black square with 4 or 5 wires coming out the bottom.
