I have followed Pope Benedicts history for close to twenty yearsw and every document regarding homosexuals has shown to be ones involving insensitivity, and disregard for their feelings. In one letter he blamed the voilence and discrimination some have expeirenced on themselves. In a second letter he urged the bishops to oppose their civil rights and finlay in a third he said that those in relationships should not be treated with any respect. It is very disturbing his attitude towards them.

Pope Benedict does not hate homosexuals. Homosexuality is, according to the Catholic Faith, a sin, but he hates the sin and not the sinner. Its kind of like a disease like cancer. You hate cancer, but you still love the cancer patient. And as for him trying to get same-sex marriages outlawed, he is just trying to prevent sin.

Homosexuality remains a seriously disordered and mortally sinful proclivity, and there's nothing good to say about it at all.

It's tough to condemn sin, yet be "sensitive" to all the personal "feelings" of the sinners, especially when the truth of the matter is, forgiveness for sins is typically unavailable to anyone who is living in a permanent homosexual relationship.

Plus, look at all the problems homosexuality in the priesthood has caused in the Church.

The duty of every Christian is to admonish the sinner, out of love, not out of hate.

The best thing you could do would be to get over it, before it's too late.
