Does the Bible say that God is incapable of using science and technology?

Does your church doctrine say that science and technology is a sin?

Uncle
God is the greatest scientist, doctor, engineer, mathematician, etc.
You got it right. I can't wait to see what is in heaven.

If God is the Creator of all things, which I believe He is, than it stands to reason that He's also the greatest scientist, mathematician, physician, etc., there is. The Bible says that He created the heavens and the earth and everything in them. It also says that all good things come from Him.
As far as Heaven being a planet, I don't believe that. I believe that Heaven is in the spiritual realm not the physical one. And why would God need advanced technology to perform miracles when He just spoke them into existence?

If that were the case, then I doubt that when He came here as Jesus Christ that His focus would have been on faith and love, but rather invention, education and discovery. Science is the quest for knowledge, and God, being omniscient, has no need for research, experimentation and theorizing. Why would a scientist as you propose so painstakingly lay out the plan of salvation in the Bible over millennia, sacrifice His own life on the cross for us, compel us to love Him and love each other above all other pursuits, somehow impart true peace, joy and hope in our hearts after receiving Him by faith and then, at the same time, be this heartless cosmic prankster? By your definition, this "scientist" would not be "loving," because he would ultimately be a deceiver.

No, no church I know of teaches opposition to science. And don't say that just because we are creationists that we oppose science.

I would say that since God created the universe, he created all of the scientific principles also. However, I would not say that God is an extraterrestial from the planet Heaven.

Tell me, is it possible that when the Bible says that the animals were made AFTER THEIR KIND, it is a statement concerning genetic engineering. AFTER THEIR KIND implies using a blueprint (DNA structure) of animals that existed previously (hooray, evolution can exist too).

Tell me, did you notice that the Bible says "all the FOUNTAINS OF THE GREAT DEEP were broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened. And the rain was upon the earth forty days and forty nights. Doesn't this imply that the water came from beneath the ocean floor?

There are passages in the Bible that perhaps could be examined a little more scientificially.

Science and technology are not a sin if they don't contradict the word of God, or vary from the truth. God does miracles beyond any human comprehension. It would be quite a science experiment to set the stars in the sky with ones fingers

Calling God a scientist is like calling Einstein an alchemist. No, it's worse.

God CREATED science inasmuch as he created physical and metaphysical laws and a complex but orderly universe for us to explore and harness.

The miracles he performs defy science. He operates in a dimension that transcends time and space.

You've got the loving part, though.

God is the ultimate scientist. He is bound by his laws as much as we are. All miracles have an explanation, but we may not have the capacity to understand them. I have no idea why some Christians have a hard time with this concept, but again, God is bound by his own universal laws whether physical or spiritual.

My Church, the Church of Nicolaus Copernicus, Gregor Mendel, Louis Pasteur, Georges Lemaitre, and many more great scientists? No way.

God is everything. He created it all, so He is all. So the answer to your question is yes. But God is not ONLY a loving scientist. We put limits on God... He doesn't. When we finally realize that God is without limits, our lives are a lot easier.
