Now I don't know much about styes, but I have this big bump UNDER my eyelid (inside the eyelid) and it gets to the point to where sometimes it'll hurt and I'll end up picking at it, and will end up with a swollen eyelid the next morning BUT sometimes it doesn't hurt, and then right out of the blue it'll start back hurting again and then I'll pick at it and then the cycle will repeat itself...I've been having this problem for about 3 or 4 months now, and I wanted to know if you think its a stye or could it be something else??

Thanks for the help!

Ok .. here it is. Stye's only appear on the lower lid. If you have what you think is a Stye on your "upper" lid, it is possible that it is a cyst. I got them for years on my upper lid and when I had my yearly appointment with my eye epecialist thank goodness it was there when I went. He was the one that tole me ... no Stye's on upper lid. So he put my head back, took out his scaple, and slit it. Bandaged my eye up, gave me drops .... and I haven't had one for over 15 years now. Go check it out and get it fixed, because they end up looking real ugly in the end. Take care ... and good luck.

the common thank you to handle a stye is to rub 14 ok gold or bigger on the section. I didnt know that they might proceed to be around longer than a week or so. Incase that is no longer a stye, that's incredibly helpful to bypass have that appeared at. yet attempt the gold... see if that works.

doubt that it's a stye...they usually don't last that long. A stye looks like a white head. Sounds more serious call you Dr.

You've spent four months with this thing pressing on your eye and you haven't bothered to see a doctor about it?
