We have been seeing each other over 5 years and she wants to marry and have kids like everyone else. I would marry her but I would rather have a puppy than a kid.

It isn't physically possible for humans to make puppies. I'm sorry. It just can't happen. Babies only. Sorry to disappoint you. Tell your girlfriend that you're crazier than Crazy Earl, who sells cars at prices so low, he HAS to be crazy.

It doesn’t matter why you don't want children; the question here is she you leave your girlfriend because you don't and she dose.
I would say No stay with here if you love her, but remember show wants children so she might be the one ready to leave if this question is closed for good. A woman have a strong zest for make new life, if she can't get that from the one she loves now she'll move on to someone else.
But if your not ready and will never be ready to have children that's fine but you have to take the good with the bad, the good is your standing you ground and the bad she going to leave when she think her clock is ticking loud, so don't be caught be surprise.

have you ever been around Children, What makes you not want Children? If I were your girl. I would want you to be honest with me, and that way I could maybe prepare myself for no children, or prepare to have the discussion of why we should go our seperate ways.
But really why do you not want kids? bad experience?

if you have a kid either it'll change you mind or you'll be stuck with abundle of joy but look at it this way even if you have a baby you can brag about how adorable it is !!! ;-)

I don't know how old you both are but if you want to leave her over this issue, then, yes that's the right decision

You should tell her how strongly you feel about the subject, and if you two are unable to reach an understanding, your relationship probably will not work in the long run.
