Aside from the above:
Be sure not to drink with empty stomach;
Don't drink the cheap stuff.
and "medical marijuana" helps with a hangover--or even a hang-nail (funny how the most harmless "illegal drug" can help one get over the ill effect of one of the most harmful legal ones, eh?)
Try to go back to sleep

Eat before you drink, try the Chaser tablets, don't mix your liquors, Tequila doesn't give me a hangover but find out what works for you, when you go to sleep leave 1 foot on the floor so the room won't spin. Drink a bloody mary. If none of this works maybe you're not much of a drinker.

To avoid/prevent a hangover,the answer is obvious:don't drink booze.If you must,try eating protein prior to alcohol consumption,ie.steak,chicken,etc. Vitamin B will get rid of it after a while if you are hungover,but hair of the dog works faster.

The best way to avoid a hangover is to not drink alcoholic beverages.
Since that is not an option in my house, I only drink quality beverages. I do not mix hard drinks with anything other than seltzer or water.
My all time favorite remedy is breakfast at a Mexican restaurant. Anything hot. Huevos Rancheros. Menudo.
Moderation helps, too!

Avoid a hangover? Simple - don't drink.
But if you're going to drink anyways, drink a lot of water. The night you are drinking and the next morning. Dehydration is a big contributor to the hangover and alcohol will dehydrate you.

If you drink, you cannot avoid a hangover; the only way is placing severe limits on yourself.
Only time cures hangovers.

Eat a meal before you drink. Avoid sweet drinks. Don't mix your alcohols. Drink a glass of water for every glass of booze you drink. Drink slowly. Avoid shots, get sipping drinks.
Some people take aspirin or ibuprofen before they go to bed, but they can cause bad stomach reactions. I've found taking a B-complex vitamin is helpful; some find it has no effect.

You can't. If you drink a lot you will be hungover no matter what. Take advil before going to bed drink lots of water. It will help but there is no cure. A hangover is a result of being mildly poisoned.

To get rid of one, in the rare case that I get one, a greasy breakfast with a healthy dose of hotsauce usually works. Taking a multi-vitamin before you start drinking, and ending the night with a few glasses of water is usually enough to keep me from getting one no matter what I mix.
