I'm a convert to Catholicism.

I used to call myself eclectic and I thought that was a good thing. I went to Catholic grade school (mass every Weds.) and my mom was Baptist and my dad was Methodist. My husband, who I started dating in high school was raised Pentecostal. We attended an Assemblies of God church, Lutheran, and methodist and tried some Christian Churches. Then, about ten years ago I noticed a real shift in churches. I am now a southern Baptist although there are a few things I don't agree with in their doctrine. I am not going to fidn a church where I agree with everything. And this one comes the closest.

I put my faith in the Bible and what the bible says and am attending a church where the preacher believes that as well. If the Southern Baptists came out with something blasphemous or that went against God's word, I believe our church would break away from that. If not, I'd find another church.

none of the above... Christ's church as described in the Bible is NOT a "collection of denominations." Catholicism, with its inclusion of lies and traditions, STOPPED representing the true church around 1700 years ago - or maybe more...

I believe that you will find a wide variety within this particular area.

Since I am one of those that do not go with the thought of having to have a particular tag to validate my relationship with God - see no importance upon being linked with a particular group that was given a particular name.

Tradition is to follow the teachings of Jesus, to study to 'show myself approved', and live a life that reflects that approval by God's standards.

NON-denominational.
Full immersion baptist.
Non-infantile baptism.
Question everything and see if it makes sense (from the Bible).
Pray a lot.
Sing (praise God) a lot.
Participate in communion, but realize it is symbolical.
Know that I am saved by faith, but I shouldn't "rest on my laurels": God expects me to keep His laws and do good works. Those won't help with salvation (Jesus's blood covered that) but there is NO excuse for not trying to fulfill the Great Commission. There is no excuse for not loving my neighbor and being helpful.

Believers are those who believe in Christ's death and resurection. Denominations and traditions take a backseat.
