so yeah this guy. i was talkin to one of my best friends and also his best friend (same person) and he told me that he only wanted me for sex. but i dont believe that he would do that and then his friend also told me he does drugs... and i dont believe that either so i asked him and he told me no. so i believed him but then just about everyone told me he was lying to me. and i kinda started to believe everyone else. who do i believe? him or my best friend?

what do you believe, that is probably the answer. sounds to me like he does, but i have no clue why that is considering i have little to go on.
if he is telling you he only wants you for sex, tread careful if at all. it might be true, might not. maybe it is an outside influence, trying to seem "cool" to his friends.
has there been a sudden change, does he seem broke when he should have money? are there periods of times when he can not be accounted for, and when asked does he respond with "i don't know." or in any type of hateful manner? i ask because these were the signs that i was on drugs. if you have reason to believe, and there is some type of evidence he is doing drugs that supports you go to some one you trust for help and guidance.

Most guys wouldn't tell their girl they were on drugs unless they are caught. Believe your friends, they want what's good for you, your guy only wants sex.

It is important to trust people - but you may want to be careful and go slowly with this relationship until you know the guy a bit better.
