God mocks proud mockers but gives grace to the humble. Proverbs 3:34?
What do you think this means, not your opinion of it, but what is this statement saying? regardless of your opinion of its worth.

Surely he scorneth the scorners: but he giveth grace unto the lowly.

Here it's speaking about people that hold others (or perhaps God in disdain) but those who come to Him out of a humble heart, He will give them Grace and raise them up!

It means that Christians that humble themselves before god will recieve Grace. People that mock god will be mocked by God. Unbelievers will not recieve grace.

Proud, arrogant people tend to leave God out of the equasion, since they are so above everyone else, and can do no wrong.
They will not listen to others, and will tend to make huge mistakes.

Humble people will listen to others, and make much better decisions.
