that was your only link to the HUGE lawsuit that will eventually be coming out of this debacle, your loss.

I guess I shouldn't say your loss... I just hope everyone who did eat it doesn't get really sick. We're a Jif family around here so we have no worries that we know of. LOL

I had some. I did not get sick. Therefore, I would not be party to the lawsuit. Further, I did get a complete refund for a practically empty jar. I'm more upset about having to use Skippy when I'm a Peter Pan gal

I had it and got sick but not so badly that I would file a lawsuit .But for some odd reason, I've kept the lid. I probably won't turn that in either even though I have the address from the news somewhere around here.

not i! and if i can avoid peanut butter, i would. peanuts produce aflatoxin and high levels when made into peanut butter.

here is a quote to the link provided below:

Concerned about your health and peanut butter? The Medical research council gives the lowdown linking quality of peanut butter with aflatoxin and cancer of the liver. Rigorous quality control testing needs to be in place if peanut butter sandwiches are to continue to be provided as a nutritional supplement to school children. Food safety is one of the democratic rights of a healthy nation and should be fostered at all costs.

We only use Jif, so no worries there. However, if I did have some of the tainted Peter Pan I would take it back for a refund & buy another brand from then on!

I agree with another poster. I do not participate in frivolous lawsuits so it does not matter to me, nor does it matter to the 7 other people that I know that also had the jars.

Get a life.

Haha yeah I had the jar, half of it was gone but no one got sick in our family thank goodness. I live in south georgia and the plant that made those is in Atlanta so most of the people I know had the peanut butter in their house and half of it was gone! We got lucky I guess!

I ate almost half the jar and never got sick...but I did throw it away one I read about it. Choosy mother choose Jif now.
