I have never really met her or anything. I danced with her before, and some of my friends know her, but I have never been able to talk with her... I'm wondering how I should start a conversation, and when...?

Don't be afraid, because you never know her feelings for you. If you want to get to know her, be friendly around her, say hi to her. Ask her whats up. "Whats up?" never fails as a great conversation starter. Make an effort to be around her more often. If your friends know her, hang out with them while you all are hanging out with her. It will be much easier to start a conversation like that. If you make an effort to be around her, then she will take notice that you want to get to know her. She will open up if you are nice, but just make sure that you do not put her in an awkward position. If you just randomly walk up to her (because you said you hadnt really met her), she might get scared off a bit. Your best bet is hanging out together around people you both know.

Man if you are really interested you will start a conversation asap. For all you know, she could have a boyfriend. Do not wait around thinking of the best thing to say because it most likely isn't going to work.
Just be real(be yourself but make sure you are confident) and let the girl know how you feel, you can start off by saying hello and asking how she is doing. If she is dismissive, dont push it--just leave her alone. However if she is responsive and friendly, pursue her and let her know would like to get to know her better.
You could even write her a note with your email or something if you are really shy. If she is interested, she will reply and if not move on sweety! Hope that helps....

ahhhh ahahhahahaha! my good friend. like tuck said. complement her and walk away. not like "oh hi i think your shirts beautiful" and then take off. but like "hey! your hair look great! i think you look extrodanerily good today!" and smile. be a confedent man:] she will probly some after you. and again if she dont come after you for a couple days. ask her out like tuck said.
and just smile. be nice. bring her a small gift incase she says yes. but if she says no. then leave it at that. dont be snotty bc you can be friends and maybe in the futer she will fall for you. idk i hope i helped

i say just go up to her and ask her on a date just to get to the point and you guys get to know each other during dinner or something and if she don't have feelin for you then you didn't waste as much if you did take you time and just fouse on her
