Truth is relative and expanding; it lives always in the present achieving New expressions in each generation of mankind-even in each human life.
In the Universal regime, you are not reckoned as having possessed yourself of knowledge and truth until you have demonstrated your ability and your willingness to impart this knowledge and truth to others.
The more truth you know the more truth you are. The more of the past you can understand and the future you can comprehend.
And last but not least: Jesus Christ is........................

The foundation of all truth rests on what are called First Principles which, although alot of people know very little of, and can be looked up on the web, form the basis by which we can definitely come to know what is true and what isn't. Simply put, truth is that which corresponds to objective reality-reality not corrupted by personal bias and subjective, ego-driven psychobabble. Of all the historical figures whose sayings I have read and meditated deeply on, only One has ever made sense, and that One is The Christ of God. It's one thing to have a subjective truth such as, "I don't like peas." But when you have a billion people all of whom have different subjective truths in everything from politics to religion, you begin to understand why there is so much chaos and hatred and misunderstanding on a planet where all of us cannot be "right'. There has to be a criteria by which to judge the truth of any matter, and a willingness of the masses to put their personal differences aside, and bring all issues to their logical conclusions-one by one. But I fear the hour is late and deception has done its damage. Whether or not there is any point in trying I don't know. But to be alive is to be driven, so I suppose mankind will continue on until the Ancient of Days calls an end to all things and begins the Judgement. Kind of makes the saying,"Find your own truth" sound rather hollow, huh?

God will let you know. If you believe everything that's in the Bible...and don't take something out because it doesn't make sense to you...then you know that what you believe is the Truth. For example...the Trinity, I don't understand it...but in Faith, i believe it. that shows me that it's the Truth. only the Holyspirit will give u the understanding of the Bible...and if you believe what you read in the Bible...even though you may not understand all of it, and I don't mean believe some of it, but believe every word of God, then that's how you know that the Holy Spirit has come into your heart and given you the strength to accept the things you don't understand and the strength to accept the things you do understand but can't change.

There is no single definition of truth and it will vary from person to person, culture to culture, religion to religion... and so on. So thus in fact everyone perceives truth in different lights on most levels.
Three children are playing with fire (Sally, Jimmy and Alex) Jimmy says to the others not to touch it account of its hot and can harm you (for he was told/taught by his parents) Alex doesn't believe it can harm him so he touches his hand to it and pulls it out, quick enough not to get burnt. Sally watches in amazement but not fully perceiving what Alex now knows, so she goes ahead and has to try for herself. Jimmy being the good boy that he is, had always followed the teachings by his parents and never touched fire before. He fully believed in what he had been taught... until (following for amusement purposes)
Late one night while the rest of the family is asleep Jimmy is left awake wondering what hot really is. He goes down into the basement with a lighter and the bible from his dresser stand
and...
Reads what the bible tells him hot is =) Jimmy was not a very independent free thinker it seems. I bet a lot of you wanted Jimmy to start a fire and burn the house down now didn't you ??!!

What truth do you seek? Scientific or Spiritual?
Who knows it? If you turn to face G-d, G-d promised he'd turn his face to you.
Your brain is roughly 9" long, 5" wide, and 3" high,,,what are the odds of you knowing everything about a 4 dimensional space thats 14 Billion lightyears to the edge of the known universe, and to know a G-d who not only created it all, but keeps it running correctly?

A matter of definition. I would propose that any datum, reliably reproducible by anyone, constitutes truth. A historical record, if adequately supported by contemporary evidence, can also constitute truth. Nothing whatsoever should be taken on faith: the teller of the tale may be mistaken, or have a private agenda, causing an erroneous report.

Jesus said anything that sets you free is the truth. Anyone who comes to a knowledge of Jesus and accepts him is no longer in darkness, but in the light of truth.
John 14,16
I am the way, the truth, and the life; no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
Ephesians 4,21
The truth is in Jesus

Good question that Pilate once asked.
John 18:38 Pilate saith unto him, What is truth? And when he had said this, he went out again unto the Jews, and saith unto them, I find in him no fault at all.
The answer is:
John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

in general, I don't know. There is always a bigger picture. It's an issue with me. I have a hard time with decisions. But you can't, with any fairness, know truth. Even in courtrooms, lawyers tell you only what will sway you their way. Concerning religion, faith is all. It's a spiritual thing. Not meant to be fully understood.
