Honeymoon is the time when foundation can be laid for a lasting and happy married life. What should be done to develop the relationship?

Well honeymoon is not only to do the obvious but to know your partner well in and out. At home with your parents and society around you do not get time to interact with your spouse to know the day to day basic lifestyle of your spouse, the different moods of your spouse, the small small likings of your spouse which you will not come to know at your home. honeymoon is basically spending time with your partner to understand him or her in and out. its not necessary that honeymoon has to be done on a beach or an international destination, it just have to be at an isolated place where you can divert your mind towards your spouse.

If you've made it all the way to the honeymoon, you should know each other quite well.
Take what you've learned about each other & do things to develop those things. If you like to look for that rare baseball card find, then visit some of those shops. If she likes crafts, let her look at what's popular in the area you're visiting.
This is a time when you get to share without the interuption of, job, friends, parents, kids. A time to be selfish with each other with everyone else excluded. This won't happen again until your kids are grown & out of the house. And maybe not even then. Enjoy this wonderful special time of discovery just being together.

u r right. Honeymoon is the foundation for a happy married life. because they both r alone without any disturbances from either ones families or outside world they can know abt each other more deeply along with intimately. they can know abt each others likes, dislikes, future plans, abt the family they both want , aims n goals. they can share whtever they want each other to know abt the other. they can also discuss how they feel abt each other n wht they want in their relationship like equal partnership or husband says n wife listens. to plan children whn both r of the same opinion. all the things that r important in their lives can be discussed. honeymoon is introduced so that two strangers can know abt the other not only physically but emotionally also.

By the time the honeymoon comes around you should already have "a foundation for a lasting and happy married life", or you had no business getting married in the first place.
Take the time to try something new together that you've never done before, explore each other's interests, and relax.
My husband and I went to Victoria BC, which is full of museums. We went to almost every one of them, some intrested me, some intrested him, all gave us something to talk about.
We spent each day walking around the city taking in the sights and enjoying our time together. Each night we went out to dinner and tried something new.

Apart from the obvious (which, frankly, you can only do so much), it's an excellent chance to spend time talking about the details of your future plans.
To that end, many people spend honeymoon hours walking on the beach, or in restaurants, or any place that encourages private conversation.

,Just relax all the hard work is done for now, time to sit back and enjoy just being together, you shouldn't have to talk about money, religion,future plans,babies,work any thing that's heavy you should have already have done this before you were married and should know each others likes and dislikes by now, if you haven't done this your in for a big surprise as the person you think you married will certainly turn out to be a different person, but then again you wouldn't have married him if you didn't already no him right good luck in your future

Honeymoon is the best time to know other besides the obvious.It is time where both are spending more time after marriage and both are in the same box after marriage so you can get taste of likes of each other.They can start adjesting to each other likes and dislikes.

We plan on going to one of the Caribbean all inclusive resorts and enjoy each other and the sun and beautiful water for a week.

Go with the flow. Relax. First rule: don't sweat the small stuff. Second rule: everything is small stuff. It is your Honeymoon!!!!! Enjoy it.
