Your question makes no sense. I'm a christian and I only accept what Jesus says, by believing in Jesus, Christians become very open minded. We question everything good or bad to try to understand why it is what it is, we learn from the past, we listen to everybody and to reason, answer direct questions with direct answers...
Christians don't think they're better than everybody else, Jesus just wants everybody on Earth to believe in him, in Christianity. Other religions have different ideas about things which even they don't understand and those religions accept the fact and think it's OK for other religions to think different things which was nothing that God said to do. I mean that's just about the main reason why Jesus came in the first place, people 2000+years ago made up there own little gods to the point that amost no one believed in the real God, which is the same thing that is starting to do now.

why do they not admit they think they are better than everyone else?

It's because theres nothing to admit. The only thing that I admit is that I wish everyone should believe in Jesus Christ. My god, the USA is a country started by christians in 1776. Without Christ, there would be no U.S.A.. We chose to fight for our nation and not sit around like chickens with our heads cut off waiting for it to just go away.

nem: I'm a Christian and I am just as human as anyone else. I do not think I am better than anyone else - this goes against the "grain" of genuine Christianity. If any people in this world should be humble, it is those, who subscribe to being a "Christian". Realistically; you will find Christians, who are spiritually immature and do tend to sound off and curse others who do not share in his or her beliefs. As well, you find people who are "posers" they are not Christian and delight in stirring things up to get a "rise" out of others. Considering these factors, I hope you now, have a different perspective of the "why" these things occur.

I'm a christian and I disagree with your statement. I don't think I'm better than anyone, I think that is a lame excuse that people use way to often. I've been a christian for three years now and looking back I always thought the same thing. It's so much easier to sin and think nothing of it verses being a christian. I hope that if you haven't accepted Jesus as your Savior that you will...........

Your generalizations show you for what you are? You are just trying to anger/incite people on here. I am a Christian and if you knew me you would know that I never think/feel that I am better than anyone else. EVER!NEVER! I am a disabled woman who loves not hates. I am just being me....not hob-snobbing with the do-gooders. I will do for you what ever it is that you feel you need. Do you wish to find out about real Christians or the generalized brats you are trying to get us all to believe exists. There is good and bad in all. Are you a good or bad one? Why do you feel the need to 'KNOCK' on Christians every chance you get? Do I throw out questions about non-believers hating us Christians? They make fun of our beliefs....do we hate them? NO! We invite any and all to talk with us and let us share our views, too. I would welcome you into my home and over coffee/tea we could discuss these accusations you hurl about. Why do non-Christians feel the need to persecute or make fun of Christians? I like my life and where it is going. Look, I have a terminal illness but am not near as hateful as you! I should be darn mad at someone or something ; yet, I am trying to find ways to share my heart. I am going to volunteer at the humane society and just socialize with the animals there................no pity please. I don't need it from anyone....I am sitting here with a smile on my face because you need me more than I ever could need you.

Not all Christians think that they are better than everyone else. Most believe themselves to be saved, and bound for Heaven, but not all believe that they shall be alone there.

Who told you that nonsense? You could say that about 99% of the world does that make it true. It's just your opinion and you know what they say about opinions.Everybodies got one. Did you ever stop to think it could be your narrowmindedness or has someone really done something to give you a reason to feel this way about All Christians.

Sorry, I know that some Christians can come across that way. I would hate to have you judge Christ by his followers. Imagine judging your favorite sports star by all of the couch potato worshippers! Explore the teachings of Christ for yourself and don't worry about how others are acting.

This is a crazy question.
We simply don't think we are better than exeryone else. We won't admit it. To do so would be bad news for us. We acknowledge we have sinned and we pray that God will forgive us.
I don't think we are better than anyone else. plain and simple.

Christians as in a group of people.. huh sounds like religous prejudice to me. Do you realize that? By grouping us all together you have become prejudice. Each person is different. They carry a different load of stress or personal issues. No two people in the world are exactly alike
