i believe the right question here is if you both love one another and if she really wants to understand you and your culture, take a chance and let her see what india is , america is over rated, yes its beautiful , but india also is magnificent in a different way, let the both of you stay in india for a while, then if it does not go as smooth as you want it , you can always go to america

First of all is the American lady in love with you? If she is, is she willing to relocate? If the answer is no to those questions then no it is not wise to settle down in India. If you love her enough, you will relocate to best suit her and not yourself.

Tough question. Only you can answer that one. All cultures are different. It is easier for you to come and stay in America, then someone to come to India and stay there because of there diverse and strict culture. You will have to talk to her on that. But if you are smart. Come to a country that Kicks bootie and takes down names later.

I think the big question is "if she loves you or not". What are your goals? her goals in life? Why do you love her? Would you life be better if you had to give up everything in India and take a chance in USA? Many questions to answer before you can answer the question.
