This was their question: Should hunting animals be completely illegal for FUR TRADE purposes and fun?
This is a rephrase of my last question which was obviously unclear. Hunting is legal in Texas, and you dont have to eat the meat. In California its legal, if a person sees a lion or any wild cat, its legal to shoot on site. Bigcatrescue.org, shows that nearly all 50 states in american legalize this practice. In the Middle East the governments collect a cat species called, Sand Cats, a little smaller than average house cats, and uses them for military target practice. To exclude the idea of this practice taking place is just ignorant, and obviously an uninformed person would reply with hostility. there are other forms of cruellty aswell, but that will be found on peoples own time.

This was my answer:
You know, it was cruel for you to tell us this horrible news. It almost sounds as if you are in favor of hunting cats. I am going to post a reference to this question on the cat forum, and see if they like your question.

This was his e-mail to me:
Subject: my cat question

Message: i personally take serious offense to your remark. I personally feel most people dont care whether hunting is legal or illegal, so nows my chance to see the truth. As for its cruelity.. well sorry, the world is not beautiful, take a look at whats happening in the Middle East. I personally am an Animal activist. That website, is familiar with me. But if you are offended, im sorry, i only meant to seek what the majority feels.

It sounds like he is an animal activist, but I'm not overly fond of the attitude that the world is an ugly place, therefore ... we should sit calmly by...
What do you think? Have you answered his question?

Crazy J. I have reported you. This Bi7ch is willing to open this up to a free discussion, while you just insult people.

I think the questioner does not state thier own opinion on the subject matter, they only want to hear the opinions of others. However, they use the word, "cruelty" which makes me believe that they are probably against it.

I do not agree with hunting unless it is necessary to survive and that is not the case in todays world for you can go to the store to get what you need to survive.
I am not vegan but would be if I had to hunt for I cannot stand hurting animals for any reason. My diet consists more veggies than meat.
I think it is cruel to hunt just for fun!
Apparently this person is against it.

I recently dropped a man from my "freinds list" becuase I found out that he and his son hunted deer. I do not like hunting as a sport... it will be different if one had to hunt for food of course.

And good that you reported CrazyJ. I have too and so has two of my friends.
