I just watched a bunch of videos on youtube of people saying they were unjustly tasered. When you watch the videos they all have one thing in common. If they just did what the officers said they wouldn't have been tasered.

Calee - People are restrained by cops all the time without the use of the taser. Just because you and another nurse (or was it 2 other nurses you don't see sure which makes me doubt your story anyways) were able to restrain 1 psych patient (who was probably already in restraints) doesn't mean that is the case everytime. I know nurses and doctors that have been injured by patients. Maybe they shouldn't carry guns either becaue you were able to restrain a patient without using a gun.

Look at these answers. You have one messed up guy trying
to resist arrest & 3 or 4 policemen to restrain him & they still
feel like they have shoot the guy with a thousand volts of
electricity? There's something wrong with this picture.
I'm a nurse & I & another nurse, maybe 2 other nurses have
been able to restrain a psych patient without such torture.
I guess compassion has gone by the wayside in this country.
I say that because I saw one guy, already in trouble, surrounded
& held by 5 policemen, get tasered 5 times. Disturbing.
Doubt all you want. I've had to restrain patients several times
when the back end of the wing I was working on was the
psych unit. Sometimes it took another nurse, other times,
it took 2 other nurses.
If you really want to know why they cry, try sticking your
finger in a live light socket. This is the kind of thing Hitler
was fond of doing.
I'm sorry, I don't care how bad a persons life is going,
they're still a human being.

Some people are just idiots, the police warn them a few times to calm down or they will be tasered and they keep acting crazy. So thats what they get. So if they listened like a normal person they wouldn't be tasered.

Well, I think you're right. I wish the police didn't have to be quite so paranoid in dealing with people, but I don't have a whole lot of sympathy for people who won't follow lawful orders. If they feel strongly about it,they should be willing to take the hit and not cry about it.

Simple - they resist the police because they're drunk, drugged or stupid (or a combination of one or more), and they cry when they are tasered because it's an extremely unpleasant and usually unexpected experience.
You are usually dealing with people who do not realize that there may be consequences for their actions.

Isn't it funny that those big, tough, wise-cracking wanna-be thugs will cry like a baby and squeal like a girl when they get taken down.
I think it's hysterical -- and I love it when the police have them handcuffed and are walking them to the car and their draggy-a** baggy pants are falling to their knees. If they only knew what losers they look like on TV...

It's lack of respect for authority.I have to laugh at the Billy Bad Azzes when they cry getting tasered.They are not quite so tough are they?My feeling is they deserve what they got.

I love to tazer people, but of course they have to earn it (by resisting of course), but if they would perfer, I have a 4 legged land shark, they can play with instead of being tazered, I actually give them that choice, and of could the third choice is to just comply..
