Liver smothered in fried onions with bacon strips with mashed potatos and gravy with green beans is one of my favorite things in the world!
I don't eat it often because I am older now and I have to watch my diet but when I do make it...it most definately is a treat!

I used to live on a remote military mountaintop Air Traffic Control facility (H-173) in Korea, back in 1981.

The cook, having to use Army recipes, was forced to occasionally cook Liver and Onions.

That made Radar and Fuzz, the two site dogs (Mascots), very happy on that day.

The people would split the meal; humans would eat the Onions, the two dogs would eat the Liver.

Occasionally, someone would slip the two Dogs the Onions;

Disastrous results !! But, at least it was outside.

LOL. I bear in concepts while i became right into a infant that my mom would continually practice liver and onions while college started in the fall. She would say that the liver and onions have been sturdy to maintain away the colds for the time of the iciness months. She would cause them to so as that they did flavor particularly sturdy and serve them with mashed potatos. Yeah I bear in concepts "o liver and onions" yet I truthfully have by no ability arranged them myself considering the fact that growing to be to be an grownup and by no ability plan too cause them to.
