Of course I do not enjoy attacking a religion that has perhaps a billion adherents worldwide. Why do I do it? Because I don't believe that people know what the Roman Catholic church is. I don't think they realize how much this so called church has distorted and misinterpretted the Word of God. I don't think they can comprehend the blasphemy, how much disservice that has been done to the Lord Jesus through their teaching. Do I attack? Not really. I am not on any offensive. I am just hoping that someone out there might read what I have to say and take a good look at this organization that calls itself Christian and will from time to time even make the claim that it is the true church of God. It isn't. It never was, from its beginnings, nor will it ever be. This is a man made religion that serves the religious nature of mankind but does little or nothing to help people to find true faith and trust in the Saviour. Open your heart to the Lord Christ and search the Scriptures. Any comments?

You're, right, many people do not realize what the Catholic Church really is. You're one of them.

If when you say man-made you are remembering the the Man who founded Catholicism, *the* original Christian church, was also God, you are on the right track. We have not distorted or misinterpreted the Scriptures, in fact, it was the early Church fathers who were inspired by God to write and compile the holy Scriptures. Catholic Tradition (the kind with a capital 'T') is older than the Bible. You think 2000 years' worth of Holy Spirit-guided study of the Word of God is inferior to your few years of perusal? No offense, but that is a little cocky.

P.S.- Don't confuse the Church with the people in it. It is a perfect Church, made up of imperfect people. That's why we need a Savior.

God Bless, and may your studies lead you home.

The Catholic Church remains the only Church that still enjoys the real presence of Jesus Christ in the authentic Holy Eucharist.

Even if all the other lies you spout were true, the Eucharist alone would be reason enough to remain, or become Catholic.

Well, as a Catholic with some blasphemous opinions, I am heartedly sick of people smashing my church. My Catholic church runs one of the best homeless shelters in town, keeping kids off the streets and training people to do something with their lives. My Catholic church has priests that talk to you and you can confide in, that's the real purpose of confession. My Catholic church makes you take pride in the mass, instead of simply going to church. My Catholic church is the only reason I haven't given up on faith. My friend, I have dealt with people like you all through my short life. It frankly confuses me that people seem to think that the oldest Christian church is unChristian and never was Christian. I don't know what to make of people like you.

Where does your authority to interpret the Bible and preach the word of God come from?
No matter what you say about the Catholic Church you cannot disprove its divine origin. Jesus Christ never promised that the Church he will found in Peter would be a perfect Church. What he said is he will be with this Church "till the end of the age."
Matthew 28,20
And teach them to obey everything I have commanded you. And I will be with you till the end of the age.
John 14,16
I will ask the Father, and he will give you another helper, who will stay with you forever.
THE CATHOLIC CHURCH IS THE CHURCH OF THE LIVING GOD.
Timothy 3,15
But if I delay, this letter will let you know how we should conduct ourselves in God's household WHICH IS THE CHURCH OF THE LIVING GOD, THE PILLAR AND FOUNDATION OF TRUTH.
Finally, the Catholic Church has the authority from God to teach with infallible certitude.
Matthew 18,18
And so I tell you; what you prohibit on earth will be prohibited in heaven, and what you permit on earth will be permitted in heaven.
Luke 10,16
Whoever listens to you listens to me; whoever rejects you rejects me; and whoever rejects me rejects the one who sent me.

May the Lord's peace be with you!

Correlationrevelation: Dave Hunt is a great author, and a Woman rides the Beast is a great book that I also highly recommend. The Catholic Church isn't really a religion, but a cult. It's the end time apostate religion that is mentioned in Revelation who is with the Antichrist.
Anyone who follows the teachings of the Catholic Church, who are good Catholics, are on a road to Hell.
If you're a Catholic, start reading your Bible, and check it against the teachings of your Church.

I want to say something to Dancer. I grew up Catholic also. And it's great that your church has a homeless shelter and takes care of kids. All good things. But the tenets of the church is anti Bible. You mentioned confession, which is against the Bible. There is only one mediator between man and God, the man Jesus. Your church teaches there's Purgatory, which is unbiblical. Jesus told the theif on the cross, today you will be with me in paradise. The apostle Paul said that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. There's no hint anywhere in the Bible of Purgatory. The Bible specifically says do not pray for the dead, yet the Catholic Church charges for masses to be given to the dead. You are forbidden in the Bible to pray to anyone other than God, or to bow down to anyone other than God. But in your church, you do that all the time. It is blasphemous to pray to Mary or the saints. The Catholic Church has changed the Bible. I read Biblical "Koine" Greek, so I know what the original scriptures say, and what the Catholic Church has changed. What you should do, is take your Catachism, and compare it to the Bible, and see the inconsistencies.

Dancer, and other Catholics who read this. Read the Bible, and compare it to the teachings of your Church. If you do this honestly, you will see the lies they are teaching you.

You are right. But religion is created by man in whole. But yes, the roman catholic church has messed up. The Pope: "I am God". Okay now lets change the Sabbath to Sunday, because I am the Pope. They do things that the apostles and Jesus say to watch out for. You hit it right on point.

You'll do a much more effective job of converting people to your faith if you focus on what you do, rather than attacking another religion. Tell us all the reasons why yours is correct and then we can make a good decision for ourselves by asking you what verses in the Bible justify your religion.

Really, I pity you. I am a devout Catholic. I understand you have your views and you want people to see things your way, but where is your evidence? Come on man, We can prove the existence of God. What can you do?

They are almost as crazy as the mormons, jehovah witnesses, and holy rollin, bible bangin protestants who took it upon themselves to do away with several books of the old testament just because they didn't like what they said. Catholicism is unarguably the oldest religion. These other religions i mentioned were started by individuals who thought they could manipulate the true word of God to justify their liberal immoral behaviors that acommodate abortionists, queers, and the rest of the derelicts like yourself. Your so called true Christian religions are simply paving you a straight path to hell. Atleast you'll have company with your cohorts---queers, baby killers and democrats.

You are not attacking anything you are just setting the record straight. You have to remember that it is natural for a Christian to be weary of anything that calls itself Christian yet contradicts the Bible. This is called setting the record straight and I believe many people are becoming saved by knowing the truth of the matter. I whole heartedly agree with what you wrote. There is too many people who are ignorant of the truth. And that's right only the Gospel can save and not an institution.
