The grand Island tour is good. It takes about 3 hours or so and is very informative. Stops at Hell, Tortuga, and a turtle farm.

Been there many times and always hate to leave !
The "semi-submerged" submarine ride is good value for the money. This is not the very expensive submarine excursion that is always offered on the ships. This trip is in the $50.00 (adults) range and is about 90 min. in length. The bottom of the sub has seats on both sides and the windows are very large. The tour guide was well informed and well spoken. There were thousands of fish on the reef and even an old sunken freighter now covered in coral. Half way thru the trip, the sub stops, the top is opened up and you can snorkel with a member of the crew . If you don't want to "swim with the fish", you can certainly stay up top and watch. Remember, the sub is never completely under water - but you'd never know it.
We always finish our day in Grand Cayman with food and refreshment at the Landmark Bar and Grill. It is on the second floor of the building immediately in front of you, across the street from where you docked. The conch fritters are a must have. Try to sit outside - you will remember the view forever !

The most memorable of all excursions on Grand Cayman is Sting Ray City. Hell is pretty much a desolate area that excites people solely for the fact that you can send friends back home a letter or postcard postmarked from "Hell". The turtle farm and Queens Gardens are nice but nothing to write home about.

Sting Ray City, is good and then their is this tour that goes to this place called "Hell" wiht these weird looking rock formations and its an awesome place and then they go to a turtle farm but you cant buy anything and bring it back into the US as turtle things are illegal and they will get confiscated by customs and be sure to take off all jewlery as the turles can eat them, as it has happend before, and you can also hold the turtles and that was fun.

I truthfully have been to the two places jointly as on a Western Caribbean cruise. finding on what your funds is, Grand Cayman has a great number of cool issues to do. regrettably, you will possibly no longer have the flexibility to greater wholesome only a million or 2 of them into your stay jointly as in port. In Grand Cayman, you are able to bypass see the Turtle Farm, that's a super sanctuary for turles. They later use those turtle's shells for rings, fixtures, and so on. i did no longer bypass and spot that! I did bypass on a mixture Stingray city and Snorkeling. Stingray city is a sand bar in the path of the bay that's embody by ability of stingrays. it incredibly is a few thing to adventure! The procuring is astounding in Grand Cayman, as my hubby and that i offered matching Movado watches for under $seven hundred! They each and each retail for greater right here in the u . s .. i think of there's a place referred to as 'Hell' there to boot... unsure... yet I truthfully have heard it incredibly is neat. Cozumel is captivating to boot, yet I could be straightforward, it wasn't my favourite port of call. We went to the Tulum ruins, that's on a bluff overlooking the sea. It became into breathtaking! many folk have been procuring, swimming with dolphins, or snorkeling in Cozumel from our deliver. examine with your cruise/ motel for a complete itemizing of what's accessible to chosen from. e book early, because of the fact the 'sturdy' ones bypass devoid of postpone! wish this facilitates you some!

Be sure to go to "Hell." There's a place in Grand Cayman called Hell, and it's a neat place to pick up some souvenirs and take a few photos.
