Foxhole radio?

Can you tell me the basic way to make a foxhole radio, because it seems so complicated when i look at websites. Thanx

i imagine you advise a "crystal radio". It basically has a tuned circuit, a diode, an antenna, and a series of headphones. certain, so long because the diode did not fail, or a hurricane gone through, or the connections corroded. Or different elements in the headphone rotted. .

a good antenna and good coax is a must .
