I am already (almost) "on the downhill slide" (agewise, soon turning 44 y.o.) and I am seeking to reenter the dating scene.
I am a S.W.Professional who has been "eligible" all my life.
I am NOT seeking a ONE-TIME-midnight escapade, but I am seeking A CONNECTION.
What should be my options (at this point in my life)?
I am also searching ACTIVITIES that I can continue.
I try to keep active in my church and a few other extra-curricular outings in my area. I am also a Substitute Teacher in my local school district.
WHAT ARE MY OPTIONS?

oh Charles, dating isn't what it used to be. remember when you were young. do yourself a favor and stay away from the bars. join clubs that you are interested in. you have alot to consider when you go somewhere. just go out with your friends, have them fix you up. sometimes blind dates turn out to be a great time. your friends know you best. your options are only what you allow yourself to do. so Mr. almost over the hill, just relax and have fun.

Try one of the following:

1. Go on a cruise and get to know someone. Ask them for their number and start going out with them.

2. Ask a friend if he knows any elligible bachelorettes.

3. If you have a friend who IS a bachelorette, ask her out.

4. Randomly kiss a lady, though you may just get slapped for this! (Don't do that, in other words.)

5. Ask out a person working in the district.
