I need a work out plan that I can do at home that will allow me to lose weight. I know the most important thing is some form of cardio but I can't run outdoors and I don't have a treadmill. The main focus is to lose weight, so any suggestions?

There are actually a lot of fabulous exercises you can do that burn lots of calories, and they do not require walking, running or stairs. Unfortunately, I can't run them all down in a list cause there are too many, so you're best bet is to go get yourself David Kirsch's The Ultimate New York Body Plan book at your local book store or you can get a used one in great condition for really cheap off of amazon.com ... Not only will it give you a great exercise plan but it also has yummy low cal/low fat, easy recipes. In two weeks, you can lose a lot of weight & feel great!

I agree with the other responses so far. One other thing to add into this would be to drink a lot of water. If you drink 8-10 large glasses of water a day, not only will you find yourself going to the restroom more often, but you will also begin losing some weight, as long as you are also doing at least 20-30 minutes of cardio and eating properly (see other suggestions already provided). Water though is the secret ingredient to all good diets.

You said you can't run outdoors, so can you walk? If you can, walking is the best form of cardio. Try to walk for at least 1/2 hour a day (just skip a tv show once a day if you feel you dont have time!)
If you cant walk outdoors, you could try walking up and down stairs (if you have them).
And if you are really committed to losing weight you could buy/lease a treadmill or join a gym.

had the SAME problem...nature DOES take its course but thre real answer to this for me is this...."WALKING"...and a LOT of it....i walked 3 to 5 hours a day and they disappeared. it sounds like a lot, but walking is so good for you....while walking, I lost 37 lbs in 6 weeks....of course i modified my dietary regimen....NO carbs except in the morning.....like ONE muffin...but use tofu as well...with soy sauce, you can have twice the weuight as any other protein and it does NOT make yu gain weight...use FIRM tofu and actually with bottled teruiyaki sauce, you can make what tastes like a great dish..land twice the amount of it as you would have itf you were to use filet mignon...!!!! Also, if yo uasdd horse radish to it, you can make a cottage salad and it is delicious!!!! I am not a vegetarian,, but tofu, the firm stuff. is amazing!!! So walk, use fresh and steamed veggies and try to use PAM instead of any other thing to stirfry...NO rice now. Only Protiens, no white oniions, use green scallions and know that if yu keep your protiein in halves of let's say 9 ounces per day ...but remember that three meals a day is paramount...This is the way that i did it and the weight poured off me, Including love handlws...what i loved was that each day i looked better and it blew not only MY mind, but people around me saw me turn into how i use to look when I had just gotten married.....well? it is now all up to you and I wish yo uthe best!!!!

You have streets though. Walk, walk, WALK!!! If you watch what you eat, and I mean really watch it, no cheating, and walk for 1 hr. a day, 5 x a week, you'll lose some weight. You could also rent/buy a exercise video. If you just don't want anyone to see you walking, trust me, no one pays attention to walkers. If a friend does see you, then all they are going to think, is Good for her, she's doing something positive! Good luck.

First off, switch to veggies and fruit with a minimal carb intake. Put out more calories than you take in. As for exercise, clean the house, do laundy downstairs and fold clothes upstairs. A very good form of exercise is to walk the stairs. Just walk up and down and up and down and up and down. It burns alot of calories. Start out doing it for ten minutes a day, than 20, than 30 - try to build up to an hour a day
