How do you plan to travel?
To which country?
For what reason?
Ammunition seperately?

Depends on all these reasons, for most weapons you'd need to have a trade license, an a very good reason for it not being shipped to your destination seperately,
competition is slightly different though I'm sure the rules have changed somewhat.

I realy can not answer that cos i know nothing about you nor your air rifle,
It would depend on the ftlbs per square inch of the airgun.
Where your planning to go.
How your going to store it.
And im sure there are many more facters to take into concideration.
With shotguns /rifles you moust apply for an internationl firearms certificate then follow the procedures of whom ever your traviling with.
My advice to you would be to visit the home office website.
