Hi. I parked my car up in southend-on-sea on Saturday. My memory of words is really bad, hence I normally write down the name of the road where I am parking. If I am leaving the car. This time I forgot.

When I return, my car is not there anymore, but not even sure if I returned to the right place. The car had all my clothes in it for the laundry. Now having spent walking 2 nights without any sleep looking for it I am exhausted and fed up.

The car had an old mobile that happened to have all my business contacts on it and all my tools that are now worn and used but usefull to me.

I reported the car as stolen today, as probably is, as I have been down just about every street in town. I have never ounce lost my house or car keys, never lost my wallet, but this is the second time I have lost my car. The last time in london when parking meter expired and I got towed, contacted them this time and vehicle is not in a pound.

Tried to trace mobile, only to find I need to text from it first.

When you report a car stolen, the FIRST thing they do is to look in their records to see if it has been towed.

All towings are reported into a database for the law enforcement agency to check prior to considering auto theft.

If at the time that you made the report they didn't tell you that it was towed, then it was indeed stolen.

This coupled with the fact that you've looked for it everywhere... it's a shoe-in.. it's been taken, my friend!

However.. I might suggest that you start taking natural herbs and alternative medicine to do something about that short-term memory of yours!

Good Luck!

Wow, talk about absent-minded.

Next time drop bread crumbs as you walk away from the car. LOL
