When my engine light comes on,my water gauge drops all the way down why?After so long it goes off?They told me s-thing about a battery sensor or ambient sensor

Obviously a sensor, since that is what triggers an error code. What error code did you get? Post that and perhaps someone can help.

Sounds like a poor ground from engine to body..will cause check engine light to come on..temp gauge to be erratic..anything that grounds to engine will act up. When you punch the gas the engine moves, possibly breaking the ground connection, and when let off gas..the connection returns.

Every body asked can guess at the reason, but until the problem persists long enough to keep the MIL on, you cannot determine with any accuracy what the problem is.

a sensor error, if your good with cars you can easily fix it, or just go to a auto shop

go to autozone or buy a handheld scanner
