if u mean dating as in having a boyfriend then no 13 is not to young i had my first real boyfriend when i like 10 but if your talking about dating like going out on a date then yes thats to young. and i think the oldest a 13 year old should date depends on how mature the person is if he/she is really mature then 15 should be the oldest but if there not mature then 14. just be safe and dont have sex

It depends on the person. Some people are too immature and really dont know when there being played and taken advantage off. Like the person that is 13 and dating a senior. Some seniors are 18 19 sometimes. Thats completely wrong. Close in age dating is ok as long as there not dumb and stupid.

The 13-senior date is THOROUGHLY wrong, and that senior needs to be smacked upside the head.

As to your first question, I have no problem with 13 year olds dating as long as they stick to 13 year old appropriate things. Dating at that age should be about learning how to get along with-interacting with the opposite sex. No, that doesn't mean "it" or anything even close. Just have age-appropriate fun and the other stuff will come along in 5 years or so.

yeah your friend who is dating a senior should not be dating a senior. Actually the senior should not be dating the 13 year old. And 13 is a little young to be dating. you should just live life first and have fun, don't go into a realationship until you are older. theres not need for drama in your life now.

I don't think 13 is to young to date....However it should be supervised and watched closely. As for the being 13 they should not date anyone older than 15.They should be allowed to enter their teen hood but need to be watched closely so they don't lose their purity. The younger generation needs to be able to grow up as society will allow, but the parents need to take control and make sure their 13 yr old is not doing anything they shouldn't be doing. It is wrong for a senior to be dating a 13 yr. old....... he obviously has the wrong thing on his mind and that's what a 13 yr. old should NOT be doing. So my answer is that a senior should NOT be dating a 13 yr. old but it is ok for a 13 yr. old to be dating provided the parents will allow it.

Depends on the person, 13 is plenty old enough usually for a girl - guys mature later, so dating an older guy by a few years really isn't a half bad idea for a younger girl. They're more mature and experienced for one thing!

Dating should be the last thing a 13 yr old is thinking of! I cannot imagine a 13 yr old being ready or mature enough to date. You have plenty of time for dating ..trust me!

you bet its too young. what is with the young kids today trying to grow up so quickly? i need to ask this question, where are the parents of these 13 year old kids who are dating, or dont they know whats going on? you should be having sleep overs and stuff that girls your age do. the boys come later. not now. enjoy being 13. you dont need that pressure. have fun.

You have the rest of your life ahead of you at 13. You should be learning about yourself, learn to form and enjoy friendships, have fun in groups and learn about other sorts of people. Why get stuck with one type of guy when your friends are out learning about all different types of guys and girls. When you are mature you will be in a great position to know just what sort of person you think you want to be with exclusively. I don't think 13 years old should date or have a b/f - by all means go out is groups of boys and girls but together to have fun

13 is not too young, but yes 13 with a 17-18 year old is not good. He must be a very immature. not only that he will only encourage your friend to experience things in life like sex, that she might not be ready for. He may hurt her, because boys at that age (especially immature ones) aren't looking for love they sometimes confuse sex with love and will only confuse your friend of the same thing. Tell your friend that if this boy pressures her for sex, then that is all he wants. Thats how you can tell if they really like you (they will wait) or are just horny boys. You don't have to have sex with a boy to make him like you, and definitely not to keep him. Chances are he will do her and move on to the next. After dating a few years, they might be ready. I've made these mistakes at an early age and have suffered terribly because I didn't know any better and no one gave me advice. My mother and I are not close at all and I would've given anything to have internet connection like this for advice. sex is good when love is involved but because of my own mistakes I have issues believing if a man really loves me or likes my sex. I started at 13 and now I am 28. it really sucks still being confused about this at my age. I didn't really start to enjoy sex till I was in my mid twenties. Did you know that woman don't even hit their sexual peak till their 30's? It's better to wait, cause you all have plenty of time to learn all you need to know by the time you get to 30. p.s. I am proud you are looking out for your friend, she is lucky to have a friend that cares for her like you do. Hope this helps.
