The KGB doesn't exist anymore as it is, but it was replaced by a new organization called FSB. But the activities are still the same. Only the name has changed.
Have you heard about the former Russian spy residing in England who was poisoned with radioactive Polonium-210?. He was a former FSB agent. Those who poisoned him were also believed to be FSB agents.
