The difference is only by the right or wrong use of one's free will.
God gives all men the capacity to learn how to use their free will.

It's Not so simple as all that. Things are not just divided between two great extremes. Things gradually stretch from one extreme to the other with varying degrees from bottom to top of one extreme to the other. those who live in hell are generally born on the poverty level and are never able to pull themselves up. Those born to greatness such as a president are born wealthy and can afford to get good educations and purchase their greatness. Such is life.

Be happy with who you are.
You don't get any do-overs. This is it.
You get one shot, and then you're gone.

Edit: Don't listen to some of the people on here talking about "greatness". Some people never have a chance. But even if that's you, that doesn't mean your life has to be "bad".
Being born with limitations isn't a choice, but laying down and taking it without a fight is a choice.

Anyone can achieve "greatness", God gave us all that ability. How you choose to use that ability determines whether you get to "greatness" or not.

Of course 99% of us are great to someone; May be kids or grand kids. May be someone you helped on the spur of the moment. You don't have to have fame or fortune to be great

Because they become what they believe
people who are great believed they could become great
