Ive never been to Thailand,what would be a good amount of money to take if I were to travel there for say 2 or 3 months,would it be safe to go by myself?

Hi, the cost of living in Thailand is low, so you need not bring too much with you. Plus the ATM works internationally, you can easily top up your funds anywhere in Thailand. Not necessary to lug huge amount of cash with you.

As for budgeting, this will be more on where are you , where will you be staying, what will you be doing, and what diet can you take?

If you want to live it up, easily US$200/day. If you do it simple you can get by for US$50/day. This I meant including accommodation and meals. Of course location matters too. In the cities, price will be a bit higher than if you are out in the countryside.

Safety, there are quite a few single lady travellers to Thailand already, so for you , it should not be a problem..

depends on your lifestyle, food and lodgeing will be your most costly items except if your a party anamial and plan to have some bar girl with you. I would say between one and two thousand a month.

Stay away from the beer and it is still relatively cheap!
