ok so im going out with ts guy right? well i think hes nice but all my friends think hes a total jerk. hes really nice to me though. he makes me laugh and we skated and held hands but whenever i talk to him i never have anything to say! what should i talk to him about? and should i keep him?

ive known him for 6 years and we just started going out on thursday. and just a reminder... im 12. were not in a really seerious relationship you know how relationships are when your 12 & 13.

You have to be able to talk to him about something. Maybe try something like "How was your day?" Ask about his hobbies and maybe you'll find something in common. What kind of songs he likes to listen to. Ask him about his friends and families. About school, which teacher he likes, which subject he likes, fun stuff like that. If there really is nothing between you then I think you guys should try to remain friend unless you really have the feeling about him. You know fireworks and your stomach full of butterflies and flip-flopping of your heart. That sounded too mushy.

Why do your friends think he's a jerk in the first place? If it's something small like he played an April Fools' Joke on someone, then maybe it's not such a big deal.
He's a guy and you like him, but when you're talking to him, don't think about that part. You're probably clamming up because when you first see him, you automatically think about how much you like him or how cute the little flip in his hair looks. Think of him as a regular person and soon conversation will start flying!

HEY read this okay all and listen. ask these questions? Im wondering if you are looking for some parental guidence her as maybe you dont have any at home. I dont know the situation. Friends dont usually lie but at your age they dont know whats going on either.Why do you want to go out with him now? why not wait? you are a responsible girl and its time to make reasponsible decisions.
Why do your friends think hes a jerk? Is he after only one thing? or your friendship? Do you feel you are old enough? does your mom think so?Does he treat people as you would like to be treated? Is he nice to others? does he care about himself only? if so dont bother.. Is he polite courteous and honest? Does he have a lot of girls that he hangs out with ? if he does he might be a player...Talk about what you believe in.. Be yourself its all you can do.. People dont usually change who they really are..
Dont pretend to be something your not as this will effect things later.. that also refers to if you are 12 do what 12 yr olds do . Not try to be grown up. have boyfriends and date..its too soon for this. Keep it as friends no more for now.
hey if your 12 wow.. my daughter is 12 I cant imagine her dating. but she does like boys.. At your age it seems that realtionships are a like and hate thing.. changing your mind every other day. for my daughter it is. Just be friends. Dont rush into things. I honestly dont think you should be seeing any boys. As you are too young.. dont take offense to that okay. Trying to help. What you do today can affect your entire life.. decisions you make are very important. You want many things . and gosh they will change so much over the years.. I think you should wait? Or you wouldnt ask this... What would your mom want? I think you know? or maybe she doesnt care... or know. I care and I would like you to expericance being a kid. have fun and enjoy life. The guy I used to date was such an awesome person to me but around my friends he didnt act that great.And I know you are thinkin great shes not with this guy anymore so it must be bad. But that wrong my friends understood my feelings for him and how he made me feel. I bet he is so sweet to you and that is something that is hard to come by.Just ask him about his life he will love it that you care so much to ask.I think if you really like him then you should keep him and see where things take you.Good luck Hope this helps

Just tell him you want to be friends and that you don't feel the same way you used to when you guys first started out. Trust yourself and everything will go fine...and wait for the right timing.

tlk about ur likes and dislikes
dont let ur friends make you break up with him get to kno him
and find out if any of ur friends accusations have ground
also remember there first impressions of him may not be rite find out fo yo self

If you like him and his nice to you and he likes you, you should keep him. try talking about things he and you have in common and things like what he do during the day. talk about people you guys both know.
