Our prayers always get answered. They're just sometimes not answered as we WANT them to, even as we think is best for us. You have to really look for the answer... God has it.

This isn't a matter of if our prayers get answered or not, its a matter of how they get answered. We can't try to reason with God and use Him as santa clause. We can't just ask Him for what we think is the best for our lives or what we think we need then get mad at Him. Also, have you ever though about the reason why we pray. Do we pray so that we can somehow sway God into taking our side. Well this doesn't make any sense seeing as God is never changing. On the contrary, prayer is meant to change us not God.

Maybe your prayers did get answered, just not in the way you wanted it to be answered. You may not understand now why things turned out the way it did, but as time goes by you will find a place in your life where you can look back and see that you are glad that your prayer wasn't answered the way you wanted.

We are each anxious to have our prayers answered, especially those which affect us profoundly, when illness strikes, or we need a job, when finances are a mess, when we long for a spouse or our kids go wrong, for only a few examples. God's time is not our time, but we unwittingly try to put Him in our time frame. Sometimes there is no obvious or immediate answer to our prayers, but our loving Heavenly Father is always mindful. He promised to supply our needs, not our wants. Often the answers are long in coming, and sometimes, and this is the hardest part of being human, His answer is a gentle, but well advised, "No." Wait patiently on Him and know that He loves you and longs to bless you.

Sincere prayer to the Almighty with correct meditation without having self interest will be answered. If not answered means the
prayer was not offered truely , in right spirit.

If your prayer is for the benefit of somebody or for any good reasons it will definately be answered. Most important is the faith & dedication in your prayers. Sometimes we fail in this and blame that our prayers are never answered. If we sincerly pray with full faith & dedication there is no question that it will not be answered.

what is the pupose of prayer what do you want from prayer anything could be achived through right knowledge, faith(confidence) and power in the body. prayer gives it but you should act afterwards. the God can not act on behalf of you. if you say God please bless me for scoring 90% marks. afterwards you are sitting is it possible to score the marks. you have to start with . God will give you the right direction what should be studied from where it should be studied through intutive knowledge and also strenght in the body to do that. then you can score 90% marks. for anything right knowledge, faith or confidence and hard work are needed. if you prey to God it means you will get right knowledge, faith but hard work you have to do to get anything in this world. it is the spiritual law.

contrary to what everyone else may be saying, I think that you present the problem to god and then do what ever possible with the strength and intelligence he has given you to try solving problem. I hear people saying, "leave it in gods hands" alot but you should not stop there. God created us very intelligently and wants us to use our own might and will to do the best we can to survive on this earth.
I hope this helps.
