Its mainly stress which makes them not eat enough in the days near to the weddin day so they could become hypoglycemic. (law glucose levels in the blood esp to the brain) esp when standing up. I had my cousin who was too anxious prior to the weddn n she wasnt eatn n she collapsed when tryn on her gown, on d weddn day she was just shakin n we were worried she didnt pass out on that day.. thank Goodness. i hav bn a bridesmaid several times n i have never fainted despite the long standing. (prob becoz i eact enough before d weddn).

locking your knees is probably the most common reason

but i've also seen some people way hung over from partying way too hard the night before who looked like they would pass out at any minute.

It's what's called a vasovagal response. You have a sudden drop in blood pressure, and passing out allows your body to keep pumping blood so you don't die (that's why you should NOT hold somebody up who is passing out, just catch them and ease their fall).

The bride would cuz of her nerves. maybe the groom would also. Anyone else would be at the reception cuz they drank to much.

They lock their knees up. You need to relax your legs, or you'll faint. Nerves also contribute.
