Depends on where you live. In my jurisdiction a marijuana pipe is a petty misdemeanor. That means it's not even a crime. You pay a small fine and it CAN'T go on your record as a criminal offense. It's similar to a parking ticket.

Your jurisdiction may be very different. I would suggest going to Google and entering in the name of your state and "drug paraphernalia." You should be able to determine the level of offense pretty quickly.

I wouldn't depend on Yahoo answers for this type of question.

Good luck

It will likely be a misdemeanor. You may have to either pay a fine or be on probation. In my state a second offense is a felony, so, you may want to consider what is more important, your freedom or your high. I'm in favor of decriminalization of marijuana, but it's not going to happen anytime soon Pay your money, and take your chances.

No its just a Class B misdemeanor and if its your first offense you will get probation and community service. I got busted with 4oz. and that's what they gave me. You also have to learn that you will never live your record down, be smart and get out of the game now.I did and I'm glad I did

Under normal circumstances it should be a ticket, however, was the "bowl" loaded? If so, then you may be facing some additional charges.
