hi im about 220 230 im wanting to lose the weight quick maybe even biuld my chest/ stomach area into a 6 pack but ive tried quite a bit of different stuff but nothing works

There is no quick and painless way of effectively losing weight, and no magical diet which will let you lose that much weight in one week. Any diet that lets you lose that much weight in that short a time would probably be very harmful to you, and the results would not last anyway.

To effectively lose weight, you first have to figure out how many calories your body needs every day to work in top condition. There are many calculators on the internet which give you a rough estimate, but your best bet would probably be going to see a dietician.

Then, change your eating habits - eat according to your needs. You don't have to be VERY strict with yourself, and you can compromise - just don't get used to it! Don't cut down too much though, and don't give up ANY particular class of food. Yes, you need fats too - just very, very little of them :) Also, if you are a regular drinker, try to cut down on the alcohol a bit.

Then, do some physical activity on a regular basis. Try to be regular about it - it's better to do something mild on a daily basis than something strenuous once every two months. Once you are fit, your body will burn more calories even while you're resting, and so you'll be able to eat a little more if you feel the need to.

I hope this helps - I'm a bit overweight myself, I know the theory of weight loss very well, but I'm just too lazy to bother about the practice right now ;)

Quick and easy way would be to go on Master Cleanse for 10 days, to jump start and clean your system, then go on the Chemical Breakdown diet (3 on and 2 off) til the weight is gone, and get "The Red" exerciser. You can google all these and get the whole plan. This would be the quickest way I know of. You can drop 30 - 40 lbs in a month and tighten that belly fast with this routine.

The coolest method i have met out there is the game system called Wii. There are excerices on the game that just give amazing workout (sweating a lot) without you realizing. It is tons of fun for youth and adults. You bascily play games that require you to constantly move your body and at the same time workout.

If you are desperate to lose 20-30 pound in 1 week you can hop into a hot shower and do jumping jacks for about 20 minutes...make sue its steeming in the shower and having a sweatshirt on(try not to get it wet). This method basicly removes your water mass, dehydrates you, but loses fast pounds. Very dangerous so I would not suggest it. Go with the first suggestion

Drink Lots of water (half your body weight in ounces everyday) That is VERY important

Then do LOTS of Cardio! I don't know what your schedule is like, but try to get in an hour a day, maybe more if you have time, but don't forget to do light stretching b4 and more intense after.
You might have to work up to excersizing everday, by starting out doing it every other day.

Lift weights to build up your chest and do the ab machine for your abs, or get an ab ball and do it at home...

Go on a 1200-1500 calorie diet, but no matter what don't forget to eat at least 1000 calories a day! Anyless than that and it gets harder for your body to lose fat because it goes in to "storage" mode.

the best and quickest way I've ever lost weight is to join weight watchers. the other thing you can do is to eat healthy and jog every day.. or join a gym what ever your most comfortable doing. i lost 53 lbs doing weight watchers in 4 and a half months. i went from a size 16 to a size 11-12 in no time at all. good luck

try no to drink soda, drink a lot of water and try not to eat n lay down right away or dont eat anything after 6 or 7 but during the day you can eat whatever you want whenever but keep it small meals, it actually worked for me

you need to do some hard physical labor. chunking bricks, hauling lumber, etc... Look at the guys that work sawing down trees, hauling logs, all which takes a lot of endurance, too. They're not steroided out. They have real muscles. They got them the hard way.

Fasting works, but you must also change your diet... a good solution would be to cut out majority of sweets and sodas. Eat healthy and drink water whenever possible.

I've lost 5 kilos in my first week. It's my 10th day and I have included salad with some protein (eg. egg/ lean chicken) as you suggested. After 4 years of trying, the fat is finally coming off. It truly feels like magic!

Running, you can get in the best shape just by running.....plus running works almost every muscle group in your body, so you'll be getting a great work out.
